Bleach T-shirt designs – Beyond the basics
5-9-21 Update
Hi, all welcome to the Upcycle Design Lab. I am so happy that you have stopped by. If you would like to receive updates when I post new projects be sure to subscribe.
Just a quick note. These shirts are projects that I made several years ago and all the templates were hand-cut from packing tape and parchment paper templates. I have recently made some more shirts using my new Cricut maker cutting machine and freezer paper templates. I wanted to clarify the difference because it is possible to get very intricate designs with either technique. If you would like more details on making the hand-cut templates check out my post here.
Original Post
In my last post, I made an easy bleach t-shirt design. It got me wondering just how far I could take this technique. So I did a little more experimenting with larger art and more complex designs.
To be honest I was actually surprised at some of the results that I was able to achieve.
If you have a few boring t-shirts hanging around you may want to give this technique a try for yourself.
Happy Upcycling,
