This week in the lab I have been working on making some Halloween costume aprons by upcycling some plastic grocery and other single use bags. It is a pretty simple process to fuse plastic into a more sturdy weight fabric that can be sewn with a sewing machine and made into all kinds of things.

All you need are several layers of plastic bags some parchment paper and an iron.
