How To Make A Spinning Desk Organizer Photo Calendar Cube – Upcycled From CD Cases
Hello all,
It has been awhile since I have really taken much time to write here. I have been crafting and creating and mostly working on increasing my presence on my Youtube Channel.
If you have a channel of your own you probably already know about the changes that go into effect today. While it is disappointing to lose the ability to monetize my videos, for what I hope is a short time period, I am determined to work harder to meet the new requirements.
If you missed my last few posts most of them have been about fusing glass. I have made quite a few jewelry projects using empty glass bottles as the raw material to make upcycled jewelry pieces. I was surprised how easy and fun it is to use a microwave to melt and fuse glass and I am excited to try upcycling the glass into other projects as well….
But for this weeks project I took a break from melting glass and got my scrap booking fix. I don’t have a lot of scrap booking supplies but I do have a few punches and I bought a couple of sticker books and some scrapbook paper and spent a few soothing hours cutting and pasting.
As you can see I am not an expert scrapbooker but I do enjoy dabbling in it every now and then.
To make the desk organizer I used some stuff that you most likely have easy access to as well, some empty cd cases, plastic bottle caps, scrap cardboard and a toilet paper tube.
Until next time,
Happy Upcycling,
What a cool idea! 🙂 Lisa
