Upcycled Egg Peeler
I don’t know about you but I love those simple “life hacks.” You know the ones that make you wonder, “now why didn’t I think of that?” The only problem is that I never remember them when I actually need them.
I am also in love with The Grommet. It is a website that has all kinds of innovative and fun things to buy and I recently stumbled on to this item call The Negg. Which got me wondering if I could come up with an upcycled version. Now, if you are giving a gift to someone who makes a lot of deviled eggs I would definitely go with The Negg. If on the other hand you are just needing a quick and inexpensive way to peel some eggs you can search Youtube, like I did, for some ideas. As it turns out there are a lot of different ways to peel an egg. Who knew?
Anyway this is my version.
I am hoping that writing about it will help me to remember the next time I have to peel a whole bunch of eggs.
Happy Upcycling,
Easier and safer than using a tin can is just cracking the shell on all sides, removing a portion of the shell near the pointed end, and inserting a spoon between the membrane and egg white then move around the egg, removing the shell. Kids can do this one.
