How to make a fused glass shamrock lucky charm pendant
You know how some projects come together easily just the way you imagined? Well this one was not one of those projects.
I tried and failed so many time to make this silly pendant for St Patrick’s Day. My first design idea was to make the shamrock shape out of green bottle glass but the results where pretty uncontrollable and looked like misshaped green blobs. Then there was the technique that caused a minor glass explosion in my microwave. As it turns out this was not really a big deal. It was however, a little scary. And then there were several more failed attempts to paint the shamrock shape. But I guess it is true that persistence pays off as I was able to complete the project to my satisfaction. Of course my judgement could be off maybe I just couldn’t take any more failures so I gave up and decided I was done. 🙂
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder right?
