I am so excited. I finally got the nerve to take the plung and buy the Cricut Maker. This is my first Cricut product so I was a little intimidated by getting their newest machine with all the bells and whistles.

My concern was the learning curve. I assumed it would be pretty steep. But since I am interested in cutting all kinds of different materials, including some unauthorized ones 🙂 I decided that the Maker was the best choice.

So far I haven’t cut anything but paper but I am learning my way around the software and the machine itself.

In this first video I unbox all the items in the Maker machine and the ultimate bundle. Then I quickly demonstrate the machine setup and make my first cut. I also share some of my initial thoughts and experiences along the way after experimenting with a few additional cuts.

This new toy is so much fun to play with. I still have tons of things to learn which keeps it interesting. But it is easy to get started and I have already made a few finished projects.

Stay tuned I will be sharing them in next week’s post.

For now I just want to introduce you to this amazing little machine. If you have been thinking about buying one but you are a little intimated take it from a complete novice. You really can get started quickly and easily. Plus there are a lot of folks on line sharing what they know to help you learn.

The machine is very pretty and sleek.

All the stuff in the bundle gives you lots to experiment with.

My first cut.

A few practice pieces.

Thanks for stopping by.
