Craft Show Booth Set-Up – Preparing for My Second Craft Show
If you have ever dreamed of selling your handmade items at a craft show but were nervous about trying it, you are not alone. It can be scary to lay the things you have slaved over, loved creating, and shaped into being in front of others to judge. It’s easy to get discouraged to feel unworthy or untalented. The sense of not belonging can feel overwhelming.
Some of your labored over and most loved creations can be rejected by the masses. But you learn, and you grow, and you hone your skills. You make, and you create because you are inspired to bring something into being that did not exist before. There is a makers mindset in you, and when you are ready, you will share what you have created with your community.
You will learn even more and continue to sharpen your skills. It’s still scary and exciting, but before you know it, the adventure is over, and you are ready for the next time. A little less scared and a little more confident and still a bundle of nerves.
Keep creating my friends and enjoy the ride,
Cindy

I commented at your YouTube video, but just to reiterate – this is so creative, and also so helpful to me if I ever get back to selling at our craft fair. I love those sewing machine drawers as display units. Great tips – thank you and good luck at the upcoming fair!
Thanks Jenny_O. I hope you are doing well.
