Thrifted and Found Objects Trash to Treasure Upcycled Garden Project DIY’s
I don’t know about you, but I am super excited for spring. I have already planted a few flowers, and my wheels are spinning on all the projects I want to create. This year, I may even attempt to have a real garden, which will be quite an undertaking for me as my thumbs are far from green. So today, I have some simple upcycled garden project DIYs for you to try.
Tall Solar Lights

Supplies:
- Solar Light
- Extra-Solar Light Stakes
- E6000 Glue
- Krylon 5 in 1 Copper Metallic Spray Paint
- Blue Painters Tape
Step 1

To assemble the stakes, I used E6000 glue and plastic pieces to make a longer stake to make my desired height. Gluing the pieces is optional, but my parts were a little shaky, so I wanted the extra support. Once the pieces were together, I whipped off the excess glue with a paper towel.

Step 2

The pieces of the solar lights are easy to take apart, so I set aside the clear plastic piece and used painter’s tape to protect the solar panel.

Step 3
Next, I used some Krylon 5 in 1 copper metallic spray paint to coat the pieces.

Step 4
Once the paint was dry, I reassembled the pieces, and the lights were ready for the garden.
